Welcome to the Artisans Downtown Gallery & Gifts' Calendar of Events for May 2013!

EVENTS

Friday, May 3, 2013, from 5:00pm to 8:00pm - As part of Harrisonburg's First Fridays Event, the Artisans Downtown Gallery & Gifts will host an open house to celebrate and show case the works of May's Featured Artist. This month the gallery will be featuring the exhibit "Images of Art" by local Multimedia Artist, Polly Holden Nunn.

During the month of May, the gallery will also be featuring the collected works of local JMU Professor, Author, and Artist, Judith Townsend Rocchiccioli. Judith's works include her recently published medical thriller, "Chaos at Crescent Medical Center", hand-painted silk scarves, hand-crafted jewelry, and silk paintings. Judith's second novel, "The Imposter", is scheduled for publication this June.


CLASSES & WORKSHOPS

From May 7 through July 30, 2013, Artisans Downtown Gallery & Gifts will be hosting Artful Summer Nights, which is a series of art classes and workshops designed for beginning artists and non-artists. The cost for each class is $25 and includes supplies.
